Hi. My friend's roommate apparently accidentally let her
dog out last night around 1-3am...
His name is Koda and he's a black whippet mix. He doesn't
have any tags on him,
unfortunately but he is wearing a black spike collar. My
friends lives on Greenmount Ave,
Baltimore, MD. He has a really skittish personality which
will make it difficult to approach...
he was an abuse rescue and only trusts about three people in
this world.

Hello.
My husband and I found a male cocker spaniel mix on Friday
March 14th 2008.
He is extremely friendly. He had a collar on but no tags.
We found him running in the road in the Parkville area on
Willoughby Road which is close to
Harford Road. Our friends are holding on to him temporarily
while we look for his owners
(we have two other dogs at home which are not great with
other dogs.

Tank is an
8yo, 70lb mastiff/shepherd/boxer mix.
His coat is beige/brown. His face is
dark brown with a black (greying) muzzle.
His ears are kind of pointed then flop forward. His
chest is white.
Tank was last seen on Kent Ave. and
Sharpsburg Pike in the Clover Heights/ St. James/
Fairplay
area of Hagerstown, Maryland. He was wearing a
camouflage collar with identification
and a signal-receiver collar that's used with invisible
fences.
Tank has arthritis and eye problems
that require constant medical maintenance.
We miss Tank terribly. A reward is
offered for his return and/or information leading to
his recovery.

Black, Male Lab, has red collar with a tag, but nothing
written on the tag.
The dog has some gray on its muzzle, but I suspect it is not
an older/senior dog –
probably 5 or 6 years. It has a very friendly disposition. I
suspect the dog was “dumped” in
the neighborhood. I have left a message for the Caroline
County Humane Society, and I’ve left a
message on their emergency service. As of the time of this
email – no one has called me back.
I have the dog in my yard and will contact the Humane
Society.

Haggis, a Scottish Deerhound, ran off from a very bad car
wreck late Wednesday night,
11/21, outside of Bowie, MD on HWY 197 and RTE 50.

Haggis is a large, friendly boy, with dark grayish-black
shaggy hair, who may be very scared.
He is only 11 months old, and weighs close to 100 pounds.

My kids new dog managed to get out the back door and run off.
He has been missing since
Sunday, October 14 2007. He is missing from the 21028
Churchville area in Harford County.
Last seen on Level road. He answers to KING and has a blue

Lost my dog in Forest Hill, Maryland on Beth Bridge Circle
(townhouse complex.)
My dog, Azu (pronounced "ah-zoo") escaped out the front door
while being doggy-sat.
He is a Norwegian Elkhound/Border Collie mix approximately 2ft
high. He is predominately black
and brown, with white around the muzzle and on the backs of his
back legs.
He is a medium/long-haired dog with a tail curled like an
Elkhound. He is neutered and has a
microchip implant. He was wearing a light blue (sky/baby blue)
collar with a silver bone shaped
name tag, and a bright yellow foam tag with his microchip ID
number.
Azu is noisy but NON-AGGRESSIVE. He will bark and howl if
frightened, but immediately flips onto
his back to be pet. He is skittish around people, but very
affectionate. Azu has a distinctive
discoloration on his right eye, where the pigment on his inner
lower eyelid is pink/whitish
instead of black and makes him look as if he has an eye
infection.
He is approximately five years old.

She did not have a collar. I took her to the vets to have
her scanned for a micro-chip which
she doesn't have. She is an older dog that has been kept
inside.

I found a lost dog at approx. 8:30a on July 28, 2007 on
Furnance Branch Rd. in Glen Burnie, MD.
The dog is an intact male rotti who I am estimating to be
between 1-3 years old. He is very sick.
I took him to the veterinary office where I work and he was
diagnosed with parvovirus.
Currently he is hospitalized and receiving care until an owner
can be found.

He is quite old and although I can tell he has a good home

I found a male Black Lab (possibly mix) hes very friendly and
smaller. I
think he is just over a year old.. hes all black with a white
line from his
belly to his chin. He is not nuetered and a little on the skinny
side. He
was found in Catonsville, MD Saturday night around 12am wearing
a blue
collar but no ID tag. I took him to the Animal Hospital to see
if he had a
microchip...but he did not. Ive looked all over the
papers/classified
ads/websites for lost dogs but I did not find a description that
matched
him. I unfortunately can not keep him because i have 2 dogs
already...I
dont want to take him to Animal Control because they put the
dogs down
after a certain amount of days. I have been taking good care of
him...taking him for walks, food, treats, and playing with a
tennis ball.
I have been hoping that someone would come forwards. I am
planning on
taking him to Harford Humane Society...where they will make sure
hes
healthy and vacinated (he seems pretty healthy and
friendly...although a
little scared as he is lost). The Humane Society does not put
down the
dogs...after seven days (the time given for the owner to claim
him) they
will put him up for adoption.

On Wednesday, May 15th our dog Henry left our yard.
He has been missing since that time.
I am writing to you in the hope that someone may bring him to
you for shelter or for
medical attention.
Henry is a two year old male Pug.
He
is not neutered.

is fawn colored with a black mask.

weighs approximately 20 lbs.
Henry has had all the necessary inoculations. His veterinarian,

I lost Sheltie on April 2, because I was away from home.
My dog ran away
from her house.
Her house is on Lower Court Mill, Ellicott CIty, MD 21043, and
someone saw
the dog around Rt. 40 and post office on April 3. On April 6,
another guy
saw Connie(male) on Patapsco Valley State park in Hollofield
Area, MD
He has a long fur, Redish Brown, White and little bit of Black.
He also has
extra 2 toes on each feet. He has name tag and the Rabbis tag
but the phone

Lucas has been missing since 03/16/2007
in the Bowie/Glenn Dale Maryland area.
He was spotted on 04/23/2007 over on
Ransom Drive in Glenn Dale, Maryland in the morning.
He is a 12 year told mix breed with a
rough coat that is grey, black and white.
He is very unusual looking, possibly a Rough Coated
Dachshund or Schnauzer/Terrier mix.
Fliers have been posted at all the local vets offices, dog
park, Petsmart and Petco.
Missing reports have been file with the City of Bowie,
Prince George's County Animal Control,
Anne Arundel Animal Control, DC Humane Society, Montgomery
Animal Control and just about
every other pet finding organization there is! Over 300
fliers have been handed out in various
neighborhood and he has been spotted quite a few times since
he has gone missing.
Lucas is very friendly. He has no collar
on (he slipped when a family of dear ran in our path)
and has no microchip. He could possibly be enticed with

My dog Cheeto was lost on 9/5/06 in
Frederick MD
on Artie Kemp Rd. He is a Chihuahua mix, although we
think he resembles a fox (see pic). He's 4 years old,
weighs about 16 pounds, and is mainly brown with black,
tan, and white markings. He has big brown eyes.
Cheeto was wearing his blue harness when his leash
broke as he ran after a squirrel, but has no collar on.
He's very friendly toward people but barks at other
animals. He is a beloved part of our family and we miss him

I found a
dog in the area of Elkton, MD on Route 40. this
past Saturday, July 15th. I tried to contact the
police
(who said they could do nothing) and the SPCA
(they were closed). I could not leave here there so I took
her with us to the beach & then home to Pennsylvania,
where she is staying with us now. She is a medium-sized
dog. I am not sure of the breed. I would say that she
somewhat looks like a fox as a simple description
(but larger). She looks like a cross between a Sheltie
(shape) and a Golden Retriever (color). She has a lot of
fluffy fur, but a very small body underneath & it seems as
though she has been on her own for a while – not much on
her rib cage. She has a bright pink color but no tags.
She is very calm & friendly with people (kids & adults).
However, she does not like other dogs, which is somewhat
of a difficulty for me because I already have 2 dogs.

I found a dog, in
Millersville, Maryland 21108 at the
intersection of Gambrills Road and Dicus Mill Road.
It was after strong thunderstorms on Thursday June 8th.
It looks like a mix between a Border Collie and a Springer
Spaniel (see attached pic). She weighs approx. 30 lbs,
has black spots on white with a black mask around
her eyes. She is house-broken and seems friendly.

I lost two pit bull males on 4/24/06. I think
they got out of
the yard around 10am. They were last seen walking
towards the Harford rd. and Old Harford rd. intersection in
Baltimore, md. They are both about 7-8 months old and
their ears and tails are not clipped. One is stockier and is
white with 1 black ear and a large black spot on his back
and the other is a brown and black brindle with a white
chest and he is more slender than his brother. Unless
something happened to one of them, they should both be
found together. Because they were out in the yard only to
go use the bathroom they did not have collars on. They are
very friendly and curious so they may have wandered
pretty far. I am offering a good cash reward for their return.
